Keeping them short
‘Cause the mind
Is always, like the chamber
Of a revolver
In constant rotation
Cocked and ready,
For the next shot.

Oh wow, micro poetry? It’s a thing? i have no chance [struggle to write fewer words] but these are AMAZING – just glanced at a few of your poems and really love them. Keep on. Maybe i will be inspired to try some on the plane on Wed when i fly back to South Africa…
Here are some of my longer ones: https://brettfish.wordpress.com/2015/02/09/pomes-by-brett-fish-in-2015
Thank you so much for sharing – you have a gift.
Love brett fish
Thank you Brett, your words truly motivate me. I surely hope you’ll give micro-poetry a shot, I never used to like it; but well, here we are 🙂 (I’ll be sure to check out your poetry)
Thanks Dante. Any clues or suggestions or advice on your process that might get me started?
As for advice on how to get started, I’d suggest you check out other micro-poets on Twitter…it’ll give you a rough idea of various styles and ease you into the process…
Also i have had a lot of people guest post on my blog but i’ve never had a guest poem – is that something you would consider? i give you a topic and you write an exclusive poem for my blog with links back to your blog to help draw some new traffic your way?
That would be awesome, by all means Brett…Give me a new challenge, I’ve been dying to try something new haha 😀
